Dutch Seascape Oil Painting on Canvas signed V Vegt

Artist signed V. Vegt oil on canvas painting c. 1950. Depicts a seascape scene with sailboat on calm waters. Signed lower right. Small rip to canvas, imperceptible to front of the painting but visible patch repair on reverse (see photos). The frame is painted wood and linen with little wear in places but overall in good condition for its age.
